Supporting Veterans and their families!

To make a real impact I believe it is important to dedicate personal time and resources to help Veterans and their families above and beyond what I provide on the This Is My Rifle Podcast. I work with organizations like Project Transition USA, FourBlock, Action Zone, Racing4Vets, and many others to do my best to provide what Veterans and their families need. The resources below should be a great help to our active duty, transitioning Veterans, and their families.

Find A Mentor!

You can’t do it alone! If you are looking for a new career or starting a business it takes industry knowledge, genuine feedback, and someone who cares. A mentor can help guide you in the right direction.

A great place to find a mentor is Veterati. You can have multiple mentors from different industries as often as you like based on the availability of the mentors you choose.

I am a mentor there, I hope to talk to you soon -Pete

FourBlock

FourBlock's Career Readiness Program is shaping the future of veteran transition and veteran career readiness by inspiring veterans to achieve more after their military service. Our community brings together top companies and high-potential veterans to foster better understanding of veterans in our nation’s leading employers and ensure that veterans are ready to pursue the best careers possible.

ACP (American Corporate Partners) has another great mentor program where you get paired up with one dedicated mentor for 12 months.

Action Zone

Action Zone was created by the Veteran community for the Veteran community. Their services are designed to help Veterans build businesses. They support military spouses and dependents who create businesses that are impervious to the nomadic nature of military life for families. They connect Veterans to advocates and assets in the community to provide the most comprehensive system of support to develop and launch a business.

Racing4Vets
